Welcome to PureT1D, founded by Brandon Castillon. Diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at age 8 in 1994, Brandon didn’t meet another T1D until he attended college at Michigan State University in 2005. Inspired by the power of connection, he created this group to bring together T1Ds across the great state of Michigan.
Our purpose is to foster friendship, encouragement, and laughter while sharing stories and building a supportive community. We celebrate the daily wins and understand the unique challenges of living with T1D. Join us to connect, share, and grow with others who get it.
